Preparation
  1. For the base, combine first 5 ingredients in a double boiler over simmering water. Stir until mixture resembles custard. Add coconut, graham wafer crumbs and walnut crumbs. Press into 9 x 13" pan to form base.
  2. For the middle layer, cream butter with icing sugar, custard powder and thin with milk. Spread over base and let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Melt chocolate with butter until smooth, pour over top.
  4. Let set and cut in squares with a hot, dry knife.
